best fat burning breakfast

I always wonder what I should be eating before my workouts.  What would best nourish my body?  Through a new study in the Journal of Nutrition discovered that women who ate muesli, yogurt, and fruit an hour before their workout will burn 50 percent more fat than those who had an equal caloric meal of cornflakes, white toast and jam, and milk.

Eating foods such as muesli is lower on the glycemic index (GI).  A meal high on the GI, for example processed foods such as white bread, white rice will spike up your blood sugar. Your body then uses up the immediate fuel eaten for breakfast during your workout without using the stored up fat.  Meanwhile, a meal low on the GI index is digested slower, this allows your body to pull energy from stored fat.

I didn’t understand the concluding part of your article, could you please explain it more?

Yes, in the concluding part of my article, I stated “Meanwhile, a meal low on the GI index is digested slower, this allows your body to pull energy from stored fat.” If you eats foods such as brown rice, whole wheat bread, brand cereal it will take longer to digest, which is good thing.

You see, all carbohydrates are made from sugars. Complex carbs are simply sugars bonded together to form a chain. This makes it harder for digestive enzymes to break down the chain into individual sugars for absorption through the intestines, which means digestion takes longer.

    Hope this helps!
